Fearon delivers fine showing

MARTIN Fearon’s fine display between the sticks ensured Marine held Whitby Town to a stalemate after Storm Callum had threatened to postpone the fixture.
Marine had the lion’s share of the possession in the first half and generated a number of chances but Whitby’s few opportunities were more threatening.
The Seasiders’ impression on the fixture grew as the game went on and the Mariners may consider themselves fortunate to have a goalkeeper like Fearon between the sticks.
