MATLOCK Town ended Warrington Town’s 10-match unbeaten league run.
Craig King swept home from Craig Westcarr’s cross on 21 minutes to beat Tony McMillan in the Yellows goal.
The Gladiators are starting to build momentum under new manager Dave Frecklington, and it was a performance that suggested it won’t take them long to put right their indifferent start to the campaign.
