JONATHAN Hippolyte’s double was not enough for Met Police as they played out a dramatic draw in an eightgoal thriller with Basingstoke.
Samuel Argent put the visitors in front with a tap in after Met Police failed to deal with a free-kick in the early stages.
The Blues drew level soon after when Max Blackmore turned home after a goalmouth scramble.
Argent then went close a couple of times for the visitors but it was the Blues who went in front just after the half-hour mark when Hippolyte turned home from a tight angle on the rebound.
