LEADERS LINNETS HIT REDS FOR SIX

COLNE 1 RUNCORN LINNETS 6
LEAGUE leaders Runcorn Linnets ran riot with a sixgoal thrashing of rivals Colne.
Linnets took the lead after eight minutes when Kristian Holt found the top corner of the net with a curling shot.
Freddie Potter doubled their lead on 25 minutes when he tapped in Danny O’Brien’s free kick.
And O’Brien got Linnets third from the penalty spot after a foul on Potter.
Colne pulled a goal back on 42 minutes when Alex Curran’s high cross found the net.
