STOCKPORT COUNTY came out on top against loval rivals Altrincham with a goal in each half.
Frank Mulhern, much like his County colleagues, had had a largely forgettable first half but was on hand when the chance fell to him just before the break.
Some nice link up play in the midfield between Sam Walker and Elliot Osbourne following a County corner saw the ball played out right to Adam Thomas.
