CHESHAM’s new management team of James Duncan and Michael Murray can take heart from a spirited showing from their new charges but high-flying Tiverton fought back in the second half to claim a draw.
Chesham were the better side in the first half and Tiverton keeper Liam Armstrong fumbled a Ryan Blake shot early on at the expense of a corner.
Adam Martin and Dave Pearce both had shots blocked in a scramble in the visitors’ area, then a Matt Bevans free-kick was headed off the line.
