THIRD-placed Royston left with the points after a winner in added time.
In the first minute Royston broke onto the attack and Vance Bola’s shot was saved by onloan goalkeeper Manny Agboola, from Oxford, kept Banbury in it early on with two good saves.
Debutant Agboola then brought down Adam Murray and conceded a penalty, but he atoned with a brilliant save from Rohdell Gordon. Agboola came to Banbury’s aid again when saving from Josh Castiglione.
Banbury then should have taken the lead, but Jack Finch could not get a connection.
