LOOKING to end a run of four consecutive league defeats, Lowestoft included loan signing James Blanchfield to bolster their injury-hit squad.
The first half was a nondescript affair generally bossed by Barwell, but with little to test Trawlerboys keeper Elvijs Putnins.
A tame header by Massiah McDonald and an effort from Jahvan Davidson- Miller, saved at full stretch by Putnins was all the Canaries had to show for it.
It was much the same in the second half, with Putnins forced to race outside his area to head clear from Davidson-Miller.
