THREE red cards overshadowed Bowers & Pitsea’s draw against Maldon & Tiptree.
Both sides had early chances to score as Shane Cojocarel saw his header brilliantly saved by Andy Wilton, while Max Cornhill headed over the bar.
Quentin Monville saw his lob tipped on to the post, before Jamie Dicks fluffed his lines when put in by Lewis Manor.
The second half became a turgid affair but sparked into life as both sides were reduced to ten men.
