LEIGHTON Town have appointed a new management team following the resignation of Danny Nicholls.
The Spartan South Midlands Premier club, who are lying below mid-table following a series of disappointing results, have appointed Joe Sweeney and Paul Copson as joint managers.
The pair won the league championship with London Colney in 2016-17.
A statement from the Bell Close club said: “Joe and Paul have a wealth of experience at Step 4 and 5.
