Alty hit new heights as Dale runs riot

ALTRINCHAM recorded a comfortable victory over fellow promoted side Ashton United in an entertaining game at the J Davidson stadium.
Goals from John Johnston and Owen Dale, either side of an Aaron Chalmers own goal, saw Alty make it three wins from four as they continue their rise up the table.
The hosts started the game brightly and had the ball in the net inside five minutes but Jordan Hulme was adjudged to have fouled Ashton keeper Luke Pilling.
