Casson gives up Bluebirds’ reign

PAUL CASSON has brought his fouryear reign as owner of Barrow to an end.
The Texas-based businessman oversaw promotion back to the National League in 2015, but they have been unable to push for promotion to the Football League.
Managing director Andrew Casson, Paul’s son, has stepped down from his role, with director Paul Hornby becoming interim chairman.
The shares in the company and its assets, including Holker Street, will remain with the club and its director.
