BASFORD United recorded their fifth successive win but were made to fight all the way by bottom of the table North Ferriby, who belied their positon with a spirited performance.
Jordan Harrison forced a save from Keiran Preston on 29 minutes in the visitors’ first attack and Dan Nichols headed in from the corner.
Six minutes later Basford were level, Nat Watson heading in Jack Thomas’ cross.
The second half was just thirty seconds old when Harrison headed Ferriby back in front.
