ATHERTON cut loose in the last 20 minutes to keep up the pressure on leaders Runcorn Linnets.
The first half was a tight affair with both teams scoring following penalties. Jordan Cover had his penalty saved by Mossley keeper Ben Purdham but slotted home the rebound. Max Leonard equalised from the spot.
The excellent Danny Lambert put Colls back front with a close range header within a minute of the restart.
Leonard then bagged his second penalty to equal things up again. Cover netted before Bentham grabbed a well deserved goal.
