GEORGE Sykes’s goal on the stroke of half-time was enough to earn Maldon & Tiptree a hard-fought win at home to rock-bottom Soham Town Rangers.
Sykes fired home to hand Wayne Brown’s side their second victory in the space of five days, following Tuesday’s 4-1 win away to Bury Town, after a three-game winless run had seen them slip down the North Division table.
