NORTH WEST COUNTIES
■ CITY OF LIVERPOOL stormed to their third straight league win with a 3-0 defeat of Abbey Hey to stretch their lead at the top of the table to five points.
Craig Cairns fired them into an interval lead and second half goals from Jamie MacDonald and Luke Denson sealed the win.
Bootle were also 3-0 winners, at Hanley Town.
Ryan Cox opened the scoring ten minutes before half-time with Steven Jones doubling the lead just a minute after the break.
Carl Peers wrapped things up just short of the hour.
