MATLOCK’S unbeaten League run stretched to nine matches thanks to a strong first-half performance against Bamber Bridge.
The Gladiators led 2-0 at the interval and looked set for more goals but Brig battled back spiritedly to make a fight of it and at the end, Matlock were hanging on for all three points.
Nevertheless, it’s now 21 from 27 points on offer secured for Dave Frecklington’s side.
