KIERAN Cook’s late winner earned Alvechurch a much-needed three points on the road at Rushall Olympic.
Following back-to-back 3-0 defeats, Ian Long’s side showed great character to pick up a vital three points away from home.
The first half was a very even affair and started slowly.
It was the home side who had the first chance when Simeon Maye turned and shot at goal but he hit the side-netting.
