OSSETT UNITED striker Adam Priestley scored his first ever international goal, but couldn’t prevent his Gibraltar side from missing out on a fairytale promotion from their UEFA Nations League group after a 6-2 home defeat by Armenia.
Priestley, the former Farsley Celtic, Shaw Lane, Garforth Town and Alfreton Town striker, came on as a 71st minute substitute for Alain Pons and took just six minutes to find the net, storming through and driving in a fine consolation goal to trigger rapturous celebrations.
