IVES claimed their first league win since August Bank Holiday courtesy of a well-taken goal in the 19th minute from Ben Baker and a clincher in added time from substitute Ben Seymour-Shove.
New signings can lift a squad and it was debutant Jake Newman who set the pace as he stung the hands of Yeltz keeper Cameron Gregory in only sixth minute.
And he continued to trouble the visitors’ back line throughout until tiring in the latter stages.
