DANNY STANDS UNITED

KENT Football United have appointed Danny Wakeling as their new manager to replace Ennio Gonnella.
Wakeling, 43, quit Kent County League Premier Division outfit Bromleians in September, just over two years after rescuing them from the bottom of Division Two and spearheading them to promotion.
Sam MacNeil will stay on as first-team coach at the Southern Counties East Division One strugglers and Ahmed Deen as club captain.
Lacking a budget this season, Gonnella quit as manager of after three seasons and had won only two out of 18 games, leaving them third from bottom.
