MARTIN ALLEN refused to be downbeat after an eighth successive league draw dumped his Chesterfield side into the National League relegation zone.
The Spireites have now gone 18 league matches without a win, but the former Eastleigh boss was happy with a point at a rainswept Silverlake Stadium.
The visitors responded well after falling behind to an 11th minute goal from Alex Wynter, levelling shortly before half-time through debutant Jordan Hallam.
