A CRUEL penalty conceded in the final seconds denied Lowestoft Town a second consecutive win.
Diamonds had been putting the Trawlerboys under pressure when Diamonds substitute John Dean was clipped as he moved into the area and fellow substitute Ben Farrell stepped up to convert the spot kick.
Lowestoft had deservedly taken the lead early on with a goal of real quality.
Andrew Fisk won a brave header and Kieran Higgs took a return pass from Shaun Bammant before blasting the ball into the roof of the net from 12 yards.
