TURNING POINT: Allen is making progress with Chesterfield

I’D like to say publically just how pleased I am that, after much criticism, Martin Allen is finally starting to turn things around at Chesterfield as expected.
Results are improving and he seems to putting a decent squad together to push up the table and provide the platform to mount a serious promotion push next season.
Since the doom and gloom of the defeat by Maidenhead on September 25, Allen’s men have gone unbeaten, while knocking out AFC Fylde and Billericay Town out of the FA Cup.
It’s just turning draws ...
