CREECH’S CITY EXIT

ROB CREECH this week quit as manager of Hellenic Premier outfit Reading City following a run of poor results.
Last Saturday’s 4-2 defeat at Wantage Town was the ninth defeat in 16 league games for the club formerly known as Highmoor Ibis. A club statement admitted:
“The club have had to deal with some very difficult circumstances on the playing side in recent weeks due to the changes at board level affecting the playing side of the club.”
The club immediately moved to appoint Simon Johnson as Creech’s replacement.
