TEN-man Buxton halted Gainsborough Trinity’s unbeaten run with a defiant performance at the Martin & Co Arena.
Callum Chippendale scored a goal in each half against his former club to give the Bucks only their third away win in the league.
Trinity started brightly, but a shot across the bows on 19 minutes didn’t act as a warning as the home side then found themselves a goal behind.
Chippendale’s 20-yard drive beat Jon Stewart in the Gainsborough goal to give Buxton a lead to protect.
