JUNIOR MONDAL has praised Whitby Town for giving him the opportunity to play first-team football after landing a League move to Forest Green Rovers.
The highlyrated striker has impressed for the Evo-Stik Premier side, scoring eight goals in 23 games this season. Mondal’s per formances attracted the attention of a number of Football League clubs, but Rovers won the race to sign him this week, with the 21-year-old quick to thank Whitby for their help in his development.
