GRAHAM BARROW can pinpoint the moment he realised he wanted the Wrexham job – they’d just been knocked out of the FA Cup by rivals Newport County!
The former Chester City and Bury manager has been in caretaker charge since the departure of Sam Ricketts to League One Shrewsbury.
It didn’t appear he was in the running for the permanent job initially but he has now been appointed –and former Premier League winner Mike Newell has joined as his assistant.
