DEFENCES dominated in this stalemate which was high on endeavour but lacking that little bit of extra quality that could have seen either side grab a maximum return.
The busier of the two keepers was Elvijs Putnins in the Trawlerboys goal who pulled off an excellent save in each half. The first in 13th minute was the more spectacular as he leapt high to his left to tip over a stinging left-foot drive from the corner of the box by Danny Kelly.
