WIMBORNE kept ahead of their Dorset rivals after a score draw at the Clayson Stadium.
Dorchester started brightly and from a fifthminute Kyle Egan cross, Brennan Camp headed wide.
The home side opened the scoring in the eighth minute when Aaron Rodriguez cut the ball back for Tom Blair to side-foot home from ten yards.
Wimborne fought back, with Luke Holmes denied an instant equaliser by a goal-line clearance.
