REX DIES AGED 87

NUNEATON BOROUGH have been flooded with tributes to Boro stalwart and club president Rex Spencer, who has passed away, aged 87.
Rex watched his beloved Nuneaton for 77 years and would welcome guests to the boardroom each match day.
His funeral will be held at Nuneaton Crematorium on Monday, January 14 at 1.15pm.
He would regularly speak of fond memories including seeing his side play Rotherham in the FA Cup in 1967 and their famous draw with Middlesbrough 40 years later.
