THIS bottom-of-the-table clash finished all square thanks to a late equaliser from Workington’s Dan Wordsworth.
Stafford started positively and were rewarded in the fifth minute when Theo Bailey-Jones acrobatically put them ahead with an overhead kick from Andy Haworth’s centre.
Although the visitors soon came in to the contest, it was the home side who continued to create the better chances with Haworth and Josh Green both going wide from good positions.
