MATT Berry-Hargreaves scored a stoppage time winner to settle this sevengoal thriller.
Hitchin, desperate to avoid a fifth consecutive League defeat, made an uncertain start. Diamonds settled the better and Hitchin’s vulnerability to set pieces was manifested after Diamonds won a corner and took the lead with Ben Diamond’s header.
The vulnerability was again painfully displayed after 19 minutes from another corner converted by Tom Lorraine.
