JAMMERS CLOSE ON SUMMIT

SAMMIE Mcleod and De- Carrey Sheriff scored two goals each in a first-half goal-fest at Burroughs Park where Maldon & Tiptree beat Great Wakering Rovers 4-2. Maldon opened the scoring when De-Carrey Sheriff scored from the penalty spot before a hectic three goals in three minutes around the half hour mark.
Mcleod doubled Maldon’s lead before adding another two minutes later but Rovers pulled a goal back the following minute when Jake Gordon slotted home.
