Hayes stay top with battling victory

DUNCAN Culley and Lee Barney scored either side of the break to give Hayes & Yeading a hard-fought win against struggling Molesey.
Culley broke the deadlock just before the half-hour mark as he broke free of the offside trap and neatly lobbed a bouncing ball over the goal keeper.
The visitors, who sit 18th in the table and just three points off the bottom, offered little going forwards – although much of that was down to Hayes’ strong defensive display.
