WILSON Carvalho’s second-half strike inflicted a third straight defeat on Tamworth.
The first half was, in the main, a non-event although the Lambs did slightly better.
Jordan Clement sent a low, left-footed volley narrowly wide while Gregg Smith’s header wide of the post.
Stratford, meanwhile, struggled to make any impact against Tamworth’s back-line as the sides went into the break goalless.
