MORPETH’S 3-0 victory over Gresley FC saw the Highwaymen continue their push for the league title.
Morpeth opened the scoring on 20 minutes with a penalty converted by David Carson.
They doubled their tally eight minutes later with a header from Michael Turner from Ben Sayer’s corner.
Liam Henderson finished the first half scoring on 38 minutes with a header.
Lincoln United’s struggles continued as they went down 1-0 to Ossett United courtesy of a solitary strike from Andy Priestley.
