WHEN these two sides met at the start of the season, it was a comprehensive victory for the Lincolnshire club.
It is a sign how far the recently revitalised Sports team have come that they more than matched the visitors in this game.
It was evenly fought and could have gone either way as Gainsborough had to work very hard to claim all three points in a tight affair.
