BRIGHOUSE Town kept up their promotion push thanks to a 55th-minute strike from Aaron Martin.
The opening period was scrappy in blustery conditions but Town did have the edge.
After the break the hosts continued to control the game, as Tyler Williams and Thomas Robinson moved their side into the ascendancy.
It was a clearance from the back to Robinson which set up the goal. His precise ball through to Martin released the forward, who blasted past Marske keeper Luke Mewitt from 20 yards out.
