Celebrate the uniqueness of Rammy!

AFTER reading Matt Badcock’s brilliant article on Ramsbottom United and Harry Williams (NLP, January 20), I encouraged my friend to buy The NLP as he used to play for Ramsbottom many years ago.
He then told me a few funny stories, including the time when he was injured but was still charged admission. Instead of giving him change, Harry used to give him a match programme!
He also says he still used to charge him for a cup of tea before playing games. Every penny counts I suppose.
Let’s hope AFC Fylde brought their wallets yesterday for the raffle!
