A STUNNING late winner from George Thomson kept Harrogate Town’s play-off push alive in a frantic finale at Crabble yesterday.
Had the three points stayed in Kent after Jamie Allen and Jai Reason had fired the home side ahead with ten minutes remaining, then there would have been plenty of drama in the visiting dressing room according to a relieved Harrogate boss Simon Weaver.
“I’ve just told the lads the know the team talk would have been a lot different had the match finished ten minutes earlier as we would have thrown the game away,” he said.
