HAVANT and Waterlooville kept a rare clean sheet as a shot-shy Gateshead failed to back up last week’s lastgasp win at Dover.
The Heed are down to just one forward in their squad, Steven Rigg, and the Cumbrian has now failed to score for 19 games.
Wide man Connor Thomson has been pressed into a makeshift striking role with Luke Armstrong and Scott Boden no longer at the club.
Both Thomson and Rigg struggled against a resolute Hawks defence, the visitors having the best two chances of the game.
