SOUTH Shields lost their 100 per cent home record in the league after a fantastic game against mid-table Bamber Bridge at Mariners Park.
Nathan Lowe opened the scoring early in the first half for Shields, who added a second from Jon Shaw’s volley before the break.
Two spot-kicks – one for each side – took the score to 3-1 before Chris Marlow and Matt Lawler scored twice for Brig at the death.
It had been a superb opening from the hosts.
