HOWELL IS SACKED AS BLUES ADD FINAL NAIL

JAMIE HOWELL was sacked as manager of Eastbourne Borough last night after title chasers Billericay Town left them six matches without a win.
The Blues, in contrast, made it four wins in a row thanks to goals in each half from Adam Coombes and Jamar Loza.
Eastbourne keeper Sam Howes was called into action early, saving Charlie Wassmer’s header from Jake Howell’s corner at fullstretch.
Seven minutes later, Lloyd Dawes fired Eastbourne’s best chance wide from 25 yards.
