WOKING are a single point off top spot after seeing of a spirited Weston-super-Mare side.
The Cards had strong claims for a penalty waved away inside the opening ninety seconds when Paul Hodges was pushed in the back.
It was a brief let off for the visitors. Hodges was involved in the action again on nine minutes after being tripped in the box by Jake Lee, this time the decision went the way of the hosts.
Dave Tarpey’s effort was saved by Luke Purnell but the striker netted the rebound.
