HENDON completed a deserved league double over a lacklustre Merthyr side who never really got going on the day.
After a bright start Merthyr did force a fine stop from visiting goalkeeper Danny Boness, who turned Ian Traylor’s low drive around the far post.
But the front two of Hendon starting to cause problems for the home side and on 31 minutes both Obi Odo and Shaquille Hippolyte Patrick combined for the latter to hit a low angled shot that was saved by young Merthyr goalkeeper Lewis Webb.
