WHYTELEAFE were humbled by VCD Athletic and left frustrated after a controversial decision in the 41st minute.
The referee awarded a penalty for handball against Ricardo Thompson, then sending the Leafe man off.
Charlie McDonald converted the spot-kick and Alastair Gordon increased the lead in the 53rd minute, shooting home from an Ali Fuseini through ball.
Lauris Chin pulled one back for the hosts in the 68th minute following a powerful run, his shot going through the legs of Jordan Beeney.
