Elokobi lifts ailing Shots
GEORGE ELOKOBI says his new Aldershot Town team-mates have what it takes to steer the club away from what would be an unfathomable relegation. The 33-year-old former Premier League defender joined the struggling Shots on a deal until the end of the season on Tuesday following his release by Leyton Orient.
He made his debut in the home clash with Solihull Moors on Tuesday night but couldn’t help the Shots slipping to a 3-0 defeat – a result which sent Moors to the top of the table and stretched Aldershot’s monstrous winless run to 17 ...
