MAY & BAKER chairman Andy Everett says moving up to Step 6 has given the club the platform they needed.
The Essex club are in the new Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties Division South that was introduced for this season to plug a gap in the Pyramid.
The former Essex Olympian League outfit stepped up and Everett says they’re enjoying the challenge.
“My playing and coaching career was always in senior football so it was always a goal when I joined the club to get them into the Non-League system and we’re thoroughly enjoying it,” Everett said.
