WONDERFUL WORSFOLD STEALS THE LIMELIGHT

NORTH FERRIBY UTD 0 GAINSBOROUGH TR 4

TWOfirst-half goals from Ashley Worsfold helped Gainsborough Trinity on their way to an impressive win away at North Ferriby.
Ferriby almost opened the scoring in the second minute but a double save from Jon Stewart denied James Piercy.
That was probably the high point for Ferriby, although the game was fairly even until Trinity scored in the 18th minute.
A long ball enabled Worsfold to fire past Lewis Hill from 18 yards.
This goal gave Trinity more confidence and they upped the tempo and controlled the rest of the half.
